Job description

Duties may include: Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout all TRMF housing and motel properties. Work in the laundry when scheduled. When scheduled in laundry, the workers will be folding linens (bedsheets and towels) from the hotels. Uses cleaning cart to transport cleaning supplies. Cleans and disinfects bathrooms and follows proper chemical use. Wipes and dusts surfaces in rooms and cleans mirrors. Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes. Removes linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets before new guest arrives in a timely fashion. Places and neatly tucks clean sheets and blankets on beds and replaces pillowcases. Stocks towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms. Folds linens and towels. Picks up and empties trash containers & other related Housekeeper activities as per SOC/OES 37-2012 (onetonline.org). Standard/Expected Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:00PM. Offering 40+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. 8AM-4PM, MON-SUN, WORK 6 DAYS A WEEK; WORKDAYS/HOURS MAY VARY. Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable). Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. At Employer’s sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed).

Special Requirements

Must show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Perform physical activities: such as lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 35lbs. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified.Based on Employer's discretion/cost: Worker may have random drug/alcohol testing during employment: positive test/refusal to abide = dismissal. Hours may fluctuate based on tourism peaks and valleys throughout the season (+/-), possible downtime and/or overtime.
