Job description

S P HARVESTER CORP. (30) Temporary Agricultural Workers for (Lowndes and Grady Counties, GA); of March/25/2026 to Nov/13/2026, Clearing/Cleaning Land for Harvest Blueberries, Picking up sticks, Stacking Sticks in piles, Making Rolos of dirt beds, Drip lines to be buried in dirt running, Putting Plastic to make beds for bushes, Digging hole for plants, Setting up freeze protection, Setting out fertilizer and mulch, plant and trim bush. All work by hand, plant, weed, prune, care, cleaning, and equipment operations in the blueberry farm. Prolonged walking, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. The job is outdoors and continues in all types of weather. Able to lift and carry 75 pounds repetitively throughout the workday. It should not hinder the productivity of another worker. Requires 1 month of verifiable work experience as a farmworker. Estimated hourly rate is $12.27 per hour “AEWR; Workers GA”. Guarantee 35 hours a week. 1st-week warranty. The use or possession, or being under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol during working time, is prohibited. Workers may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol testing at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. Housing is provided at no cost to workers who cannot reasonably return own residency daily. The tools are provided by the employer at no cost to the worker. 3/4 scheduled working hours guaranteed. Transportation/Daily provided at no cost to workers. Transport/subsistence reimbursed for the costs incurred by reporting to the workplace if the worker completes half the period of employment. Return Transportation Refunded if the worker terminates the contract. The employer understands that the Fair Labor Standards Act applies independently of the H-2A requirements and imposes. obligations on employers regarding payment of wages. 20 CFR 655.122(h)(1). In the event a female worker is hired, the employer will provide separate sleeping, bathing, and toilet facilities for male and female workers. Must be 18 years old.
