Job description
May include but not limited to:
-Examine and inspect containers, materials, or products to ensure that product quality and packing specifications are met.
-Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
-Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
-Seal containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails, and hand tools.
-Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools.
-Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools.
-Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools.
-Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
-Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment, such as conveyors, or in specified areas, such as loading docks.
-Place or pour products or materials into containers, using hand tools and equipment, or fill containers from spouts or chutes.
Special Requirements
- Must be willing and able to tolerate very hot or very cold temperatures.
- Must display trunk strength.
- Must be available entire contract period.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and be able to perform physical labor.
- May conduct post-hire, employer-paid drug testing.
-Schedule varies (days of the week and shift times). Additional hours may be offered. May be required to work weekends.
-Employer may offer a raise or bonus depending on experience and merit.
-Extra production exceeding hourly pay has additional pay.
-Employer does not provide transportation from workers' residencies to the primary worksite.
-Employer provides optional housing to workers who do not reside within a reasonable commute to primary worksite location.
- Deductions: Deductions will be made for any nonwork related advances such as groceries or money advanced to the employee. Optional, shared housing is available for employees only at no charge. Employees that choose to live offsite are responsible for all housing and transportation costs. All deductions from the workers paycheck required by law will be made.
