Job description

Job will include Pruning, packing, planting, training and thinning fruit trees/bushes. Installing irrigation, picking cherries, apples, Peaches, Nectarines, Pears, and blueberries. Workers will plant and pick flowers. Workers will also perform all farm related tasks such as repairing, painting and cleaning farm buildings, facilities and equipment. Workers will maintain grounds and landscaping.
Workers may box stapling machine, operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Workers will use picking bags, crates pruners and work from ladders. Workers must be comfortable working from a ladder for long periods of time while climbing up and down. Workers will stand for long periods of time and must be able to lift 80lbs. Workers should wear clothing to work in extreme heat, cold, and damp weather conditions. Employer supplies all tools. 1 month prior agriculture experience is required

Special Requirements

Persons seeking employment in this position must be available for the entire period requested by the employer. Employer reserves the right to terminate a worker if the employer reasonably finds worker's performance during the trial period to be unacceptable. Employer reserves the right to discharge an obviously unqualified worker, malingerer or recalcitrant worker who is physically able but is unwilling to perform the work necessary for the employer to grow a premium quality product, or for any other lawful reason.

The employer may discipline the worker, including brief suspension of work activities/employment for a set period determined by the supervisor or termination of employment.
