Job description

Providing guests with excellent service in all games, attractions, retail, and food service areas. Required to operate a cash register in accordance with Six Flags cash handling policies. Required to interact with guests, team members, leads and supervisors on a daily basis. Will ensure image, cleanliness, and courtesy standards are met. Direct patrons to rides, seats, or attractions. Taking tickets, checking passes and checking heights of guests. Sell and serve refreshments to customers. Monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures, or arrange for the removal of unruly patrons. Tend amusement booths in parks, carnivals, or stadiums, performing duties, such as conducting games, photographing patrons, or awarding prizes. Verify, collect, or punch tickets before admitting patrons to venues, such as amusement parks and rides. Fasten safety devices for patrons, or provide them with directions for fastening devices. Operate, drive, or explain the use of mechanical riding devices or other automatic equipment in amusement parks, carnivals, or recreation areas. Operate machines to clean, smooth, and prepare the ice surfaces of rinks for activities, such as skating, hockey, or curling.

Special Requirements

Any required certifications are paid for and trained at the park upon arrival.
Lifting, standing for long periods of time, working outside in all elements.
Days and shifts may vary. Holidays, weekends, and evenings required as needed.
Employer reserves the right to pay a higher wage, rate, or bonus to any worker in their sole discretion based on performance, skill, tenure, or experience.
Employer is overtime exempt according to 29 U.S.C 213(a)(3), but has to pay overtime after working 52 hours in a week. Overtime will be paid at rate of $22.82/hr for working greater than 52 hours in any given week. Employer is offering up to 10 hours of overtime per week as needed, but not guaranteed.
Optional employer housing is available at a cost of $135 per week with a refundable $200 security deposit.
Employer will provide paid on the job training.
Transportation to and from optional employer provided housing to worksite is provided at no cost to the worker.
A pre-employment criminal background check will be required at the expense of the employer.
Employer reserves the right to do randomized drug tests at the expense of the employer.
