Job description
We need seasonal employees to assist with our corn, wheat, soybean, and sunflower crop production season. Employees will be required to assist with all aspects of producing these crops, including preparing fields for planting; picking rocks; attaching farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors using bolts and hand tools; and operating tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, manure spreaders, combines, irrigation equipment, and other farm machinery. Duties include planting, weeding, spraying, cultivating, harvesting, and hauling grain, soybean, and sunflower crops. Workers will load and unload crops or materials manually or using conveyors, forklifts, transfer augers, or hand trucks, and drive farm semi-trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, and hay. Employees must observe and listen to machinery during operation to detect malfunctions and inspect, adjust, and complete routine maintenance and in-field repairs on equipment. Additional responsibilities include general farm upkeep such as facility maintenance, repairing and maintaining fencing, shop work, and winterizing farming equipment at the end of the season.

Employer will conduct post-hire drug testing and criminal background checks at no cost to the employee in order to maintain a drug-free and safe workplace. Failure of a drug test or a criminal background showing felony or theft-related convictions may result in termination or disqualification from employment, as permitted by law and company hiring practices. The job requires working in extreme outdoor temperatures and involves extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, and walking. Employees must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, possess a valid regular drivers license, and have at least three months of relevant experience.
