Job description
Perform temporary and seasonal agricultural tasks connected to crop cultivation, crop
protection, crop fertilization, and seasonal crop production operations. Duties include
maintaining inventory and ordering materials as required. Manipulating controls to set, activate
and adjust agricultural mechanisms on agricultural machinery. Observing and listening to
machinery operation to detect malfunctions. Mixing and loading specified materials or
chemicals, and dump solutions, powders or seeds into sprayer machinery. Driving and
operating farm machinery to plant, cultivate, spray, harvest or store crops. Operating or tending
equipment used in agricultural production, loading and unloading crops or containers of crop
materials manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts or transfer augers. Cleaning work
areas and maintaining ground. Crops: Corn, Wheat.
Special Requirements
No minimum education requirement. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Workers must be capable of
performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines,
ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company
vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion. Workers must be responsible, follow instructions, and
comply with attendance, punctuality, and work schedules, as repeated absenteeism, failure to meet job expectations, misconduct, insubordination, or violations of safety protocols
