Job description
Prepare fields for planting using tractors, discs, harrows, and other equipment. Plant wheat using precision planters and calibrated equipment. Monitor crop growth and perform irrigation duties as needed. Apply fertilizers and pesticides under supervision and according to regulations. Operate combines, grain carts, and other harvesting equipment to collect and store wheat. Load/unload grain and operate augers, conveyors, or other handling systems. Maintain and clean machinery, tools, and storage facilities. Repair fences, service vehicles, and assist with general farm maintenance. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold. May assist with other related farm work as needed. Farming with: Farming with: Winter Wheat, Rye, NO CDL REQUIRED
Special Requirements
Minimum of 2 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Extensive walking is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion.
