The Food and Beverage Assistant Server/Busser will assist with setting up banquet rooms and buffet stations for hotel events, meetings, weddings, and hotel functions. Duties include arranging tables, chairs, linens, place settings, buffet equipment such as banquet tables, chafing dishes and food warmers, and beverage stations according to event specifications. The worker may organize food service items, replenish buffet supplies, such as refiling chafing dishes with hot food, replacing empty buffet trays/pans with fresh food, during events, and assist with breakdown of tables and supplies and cleanup after the event ends.

Tools, equipment, and materials used may include using hands and arms to carry and move banquet tables, chairs, linen carts, trays, chafing dishes, serving utensils, beverage dispensers, tableware, glassware, carts, cleaning supplies, such as disinfectant spray and sanitizing solutions, multi surface cleanser for table and counters, sanitizing wipes, trashing bags and small hand tools used for setup and breakdown of dining rooms activities.

The Food and Beverage Assistant Server/ Busser will assist with restocking bar and food supplies, including glassware, ice, garnishes, mixers, napkins, and beverage products. The worker may help maintain cleanliness of the bar and the restaurant area by removing used glassware, wiping counters, washing bar tools and equipment, and disposing of trash. Additional duties may include bringing supplies from kitchen storage areas to the bar and assisting with maintaining organized inventory and workstations during service.

The Food and Beverage Assistant Server/Busser supports efficient restaurant, bar, banquet, and room service operations by delivering prompt, courteous service and ensuring guest satisfaction. The worker takes customer food and beverage orders, serves items in a timely and courteous manner, and prepares itemized checks for payment. The worker greets and escorts guests to tables, sets up and clears tables for cleanliness and proper place settings, serves customers seated at counters, and assists with banquet and buffet setups. The role may also operate a cash register, process payments, and verify the identification of patrons to ensure compliance with age requirements for alcohol service as needed. The worker maintains cleanliness and organization in dining areas, replenishes supplies, and supports waitstaff and bartenders during peak service times.

Special Requirements

Schedule will be Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 8-hour shifts. AM shift starts at 6:00 AM and PM shift starts at 2:00 PM. Schedule and shifts will vary based on business needs. Monday and Tuesday are the designated days off
