Groundskeeper

Job description

Groundskeepers will be responsible for maintaining resort grounds using hand and power tools and equipment. Will perform any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, weeding, and raking. Will also be responsible for walking the grounds and ensuring that no garbage, stray branches, leaves, or other debris is littering the grounds using trash grabber tools, rakes, shovels, electric blowers, or gloved hands to pick up and remove the items and place them in a trash receptacle. Groundskeepers will also be responsible for emptying the various trash cans in public areas by removing full trash bags, replacing with new trash bags, and taking the full trash bag to the dumpster.

Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00am to 1:00pm, 8:00am to 3:00pm, or 10:00am to 5:00pm. Shift hours may vary.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of experience maintaining grounds at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club.
