Job description
Servicing and Mechanic Work, 6 Semi Trucks.- All the Machines and equipment will go through a thorough inspection, service, and repair process.-Each machine will have a manufacturer's annual maintenance procedure that needs to be followed to ensure proper operation of the equipment during the work season.-This seasonal post-harvest work process will include the disassembly and reassembly of major components for replacement of bearings, lubricants, filters, parts, worn components, surfacing and welding of cracks.-Cleaning of each machine must be done prior to any maintenance work.-The work will include heavy lifting of machine parts and holding them in place during reassembly.-The worker must be able to handle complex tasks that require logical thought, care, paying attention to details.-Drive to town to pick up mechanical supplies. Maintain, repair, and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles, such as tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems. No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion.
