Job description

Sort, push, grade, pack, stack fresh market cabbage and squash to customer standards and as directed by management. include weighing, palletizing, and lifting 60 pounds up to a height of 5 feet. Weed cabbage and squash. Long hours on feet. Care must be taken to prevent damage to product. fold, assemble, and move containers. clean product waste from packing areas and lines. No smoking allowed, no cell phone use, and food safety policies must be followed while working. drive bus to transport workers to and
from field. Drive Commodity trucks, transport commodities operate repair maintain equipment, irrigration, spread manure, perform manuel and machine tasks, move live stock Not all workers will be requested to drive. Those that are requested to drive will be required to possess appropriate license. No one will be rejected for the position that does not possess a driver's license. Three months experience In commercial, conventional farming In the jobs listed is required. Workers referred against this order must have a minimum of 3 months verifiable experience in performing the tasks posted In this job order. Random drug and alcohol testing may be done If required by a government regulation, post-hire at employer's expense. Cell phone and other electronic devices can not be used during working hours. Failure to abide by this policy may result in disciplinary action including termination. Workers will be provided a designated day of rest each week. Day of rest may very with notice to the employee. Workers may be requested but not required to work on their sabbath.
