Job description
The worker will skin and eviserate slaughtered livestock. ( beef, hogs,sheep and goats)
He will use a power splitting saw to cut the carcasses in half.
He will move carcasses in and out of the cooler.
The worker will break down carcasses .
He will cut carcasses into smaller cuts and then debone different cuts of meat.
He will use a band saw to cut steaks and roasts.
He will grind meat and stuff meat into bags.
He will wrap meat and clean the work area at the end of each shift.
He will put boxed meat into a freezer.
Special Requirements
Work hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 11:30am and from noon to 4pm. 11:30am to noon unpaid lunch break. There is several short (smoke) breaks throughout the work day.
Worker must be able to skin, eviscerate, split and clean slaughtered beef, pigs, sheep and goats.
Must be able to cut carcasses into primal and subprimal cuts, debone meat, grind and package ground meat, wrap and label cuts of meat and smoked products.
Clean the facility.
Must be able to stand for the intire shift.
Lift 50-75 pounds through out the shift
