Job description
Maintain hotel/resort/cottage/vacation home in clean & orderly manner. Clean guest room/suite accommodations, conference facilities, halls & public spaces; remove, sort, fold, carry & replace linens; make beds, set up guest & meeting room furniture, pictures, amenities according to resort standards; clean kitchenettes, replenish supplies, dust, mop, vacuum, extract & shampoo carpets, clean bathrooms, clean & polish mirrors & windows, dispose of refuse. Report issues to Housekeeping Supervisor.
Employer will offer minimum 35 hours of work per week. Resort is open 7 days a week, workdays will vary Sunday through Saturday. Normal shifts: 8 am – 4:30 pm, 8:30 am – 5 pm, 9 am – 6 pm. Workdays and shift times may vary with events and occupancy.
Special Requirements
No minimum education or experience required.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Basic wage rate: $14.00 per hour. Employer may increase wage based on experience and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Overtime hours may be available at $21.00 per hour. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek.
Piece Rate Housekeeper: Payable by piece rate with a guaranteed base rate of $14.00 per hour. Allowed piece rate applied per FLSA guidelines to meet offered wage. Rooms are individually priced out based on size, square footage, and property. Piece rate ranges from 1-bedroom $40 to 5-bedroom w/mother-in-law suites $190. Workers are required to clock-in and clock-out at the beginning and end of each shift. This allows for the tracking of hours to ensure that worker is paid at or above the guaranteed base rate of $14.00 per hour and overtime rate of pay is $21.00 per hour.
Employer will provide on-the-job training.
A single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Workers will be paid weekly.
The employer will reimburse H-2B workers in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
The employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform job. Required uniform pieces provided at no cost to employee.
The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
