Job description
DUTIES: prepare necessary components of each dish on our menu using our proven recipes; utilize our serving portion sizes and all necessary meal prep procedures used in the kitchen; ensure the kitchen, all food prep areas, and all storage and eating areas meet local health codes and restaurant cleaning standards; work with a team of cooks to do portion prep work for other shifts when needed; monitor product freshness and rotate out the old product based on a planned schedule; set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies; chop, mix, saut, prepare sauces, and other food preparation; cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff; plate food in a professional and appetizing manner for the customer; clean up the station and take care of leftover food stock inventory; when necessary be available to work cashier and holidays, and if mobile catering or special events are scheduled, be in charge of preparing, packing, and delivering food to customers.
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and stand or bend for all or most of work shift.
