Front House Food & Beverage Associate/dining Room Attendant

Job description

Facilitate food service. Take order, serve/deliver food and beverage products to guests and present check to guest. Clean/clear/set table, replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware and dishes. Supply service bar with food; serve items such as water, condiments, and coffee to patrons; assigned side work. Greet/seat customers, run cash registers. Monitor/order supplies, restock food items. Enters and locates work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Follow all safety precautions and sanitation policies/guidelines. Stand/bend/walk repetitively during entire shift, able to lift 50 lbs.

Minimum 35 hours per week up to a possible 40 hours per week. Resort is open 7 days a week, workdays will vary Sunday through Saturday. Normal shift: 8:00AM-4:30PM. Additional shifts: 10:30AM-7PM and 2:00PM-10:30PM. 30-minute, unpaid break per shift. Workdays and shift times may vary with events and occupancy.

Basic wage rate: $12.50 per hour. Employer reserves the option to provide additional compensation for performance and tenure or may increase wages based on changes in market conditions. In Texas, an overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per work week. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $18.75 per hour based on locality the work is performed and the base rate of pay offered.

Employer will provide on-the-job training.

A single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Workers will be paid weekly.

The employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform job. Uniform pieces provided at no cost to employee.

Special Requirements

No minimum education or experience required.
Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check, paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Applicants must complete an employment application.
Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Must be able to work in severe inclement weather and varying degrees of extreme temperature.
Must be able to be exposed to various industrial chemicals, cleaning agents, etc.
Must be able to be exposed to strong odors, and loud noise levels.
