Laundry tasks depend upon occupancy and business needs, but could include thoroughly sorting, washing,
drying and folding all hotel linens in prescribed manner. Maintain linen quality based on hotel standards. Rotate
linens to minimize wear. Pretreat stained linens before washing as needed. Clean and maintain laundry room,
ensuring all laundry room equipment is well maintained and shelves are organized/stocked safely. Monitor
inventory and proper use of all chemicals and supplies.

Responsible for ensuring high levels of guest service and satisfaction by cleaning and supplying rooms, laundry and public areas. Duties:

• Provide top quality service and meet guests needs.
• Thoroughly clean all assigned guestrooms to include: changing linens, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing, washing and replenishing supplies.
• Thoroughly clean public space, work areas and storage areas.
• Maintain room quality based on hotel and brand standards.
• Follow standard procedures for acceptance and security of guest lost and found items.
• Ensure master keys and located guestroom keys are properly secured.
• Attend monthly department meetings.
• Complete projects as determined by management.
• Assist others when necessary.
• Display professional sense of urgency when communicating and interacting with guests and coworkers in a way that exceeds the guest’s wants and needs.
• Actively listen to guests and associates (viewing the situation from the guest’s perspective) and work together to solve the problem through effective communication.
• Utilize ability to recognize and define problems; analyze relevant information; encourage alternative solutions and plans to resolve situations; and seek additional assistance when needed.
• Produce work “product or service” that is free of errors and exceeds customer expectations.
• Regularly walk and stand to a significant degree; reach, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, stoop, handle and see; and lift up to 50 lbs. max with frequent lifting and/or carrying or transporting of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
