Job description

EOS Hospitality Wequassett Employee LLC, dba Wequassett Resort and Golf Club, seeks Wait Staff, 49 openings, Temporary full-time positions from 4/1/23 to 11/10/23 in East Harwich, MA. Wait Staff: Responsible for greeting customers, setting-up the dining areas, taking and placing guest orders, carrying trays and plates, serving food and beverages, and cleaning and clearing tables. No experience necessary; will train. Employer will guarantee minimum H-2B wage rate of $18.39 per hour worked. The H-2B wage will consist of Massachusetts min. wage, tips and additional employer pay as needed. Returning workers and workers with more experience may be paid higher wage rates up to $20.00 per hour. Overtime hours may be available at a rate ranging from $27.59 to $30.00 per hour. Generally: min. of 35 hours per week, on average 7 hours per workday and 5 workdays per week. Weekends and holidays required. Various shifts available but normally 7am-2pm, 4pm-11pm or 11pm-6am daily. Conditions of employment for H2B and U.S. workers: 1. Initial transportation to begin the seasonal/peak employment (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence will be at least [FY22 rate $14.00] per day during travel to a maximum of [FY22 rate $59.00] per day with receipts. 2. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. 3. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. 4. The employer will use a single work week for computing wages starting Monday at 12:00am and ending Sunday at 11:59pm and the employee will be paid every week. 5. H-2B workers will be reimbursed during the first workweek for subsistence, visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs, by company check. 6. Optional, shared rooms and meals packages available, first come first served while available, for a fee of $135-$170 per week. Amount dependent on accommodations available and/or selected (not deducted from payroll). 7. Eligible for health and dental insurance on the first of the month following 60 days of employment; 401K plan after 1000 hours and one year (given that the employee is 21 years of age or older). 8. Limited daily transportation offered from arranged lodging. 9. Must complete company on-line application/questionnaire. 10. The employer will make deductions from worker’s paycheck required by law. 11. Employees with more experience, or returning employees, may be offered a higher wage rate.
