Job description
Control and direct the food preparation process. Approve and polish dishes before they reach the customer. Manage and work closely with other Chefs of all levels. Create menu items and recipes and develop dishes ensuring variety and quality. Determine food inventory needs, stocking, and ordering. Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines. Responsible for health and safety. Responsible for food hygiene practices.
Special Requirements
4 years work experience involving Peruvian cuisine and Peruvian ingredients, spices and bases, and application. 2 years experience in management of kitchen and kitchen inventory. Qualifying experience may have been gained concurrently.
