ORDESS BROTHER INC. is Farmer- Temporary Agricultural Workers for North Carolina in (Nash and Wilson Counties) from 09/23/2023 to 11/20/2023. Harvesting Cucumber, Watermelons, and Sweet Potato. Harvesting Cucumber, Watermelons, and Sweet Potato by hand, Workers will also be pulling weeds, raking, and Clear up rows where plantings are. Prolonged walking, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. Job is outdoor and continues in all types of weather. Able to lift and carry 75 pounds repetitively throughout the workday. The use or possession or being under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol during working time is prohibited. Worker may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol testing at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. Requires 1 months of verifiable work experience manual harvesting. $1.00 per 5/8 Bucket or equivalent/ “Cucumber”, 14.91 per hours Watermelons, and $.60 per 5/8 Bucket (Sweet Potato) / or equivalent, Estimated hourly rate: $14.91 “Warranty”. 35 hours a week. 3/4 scheduled working hours guaranteed. Will Provide daily transportation round trips to and from housing to the work-site location, at no cost to the workers. Housing provided at no cost to workers who cannot reasonably return own residency daily. The tools are provided by the employer at no cost to workers. Transport/subsistence reimbursed for the costs incurred by reporting to the workplace if the worker completes half the period of employment. Return Transportation Refunded if the worker terminates the contract. The employer understands that the Fair Labor Standards Act applies independently of the H-2A requirements and imposes. Obligations on employers regarding payment of wages. 20 CFR 655.122(h)(1).
