A Oseguera Company, Inc. (also referred to herein as “Oseguera” “Employer” or “Company”) is headquartered in Salinas, California (1099 Rogge Road, Salinas, CA 93906), Phone: 831-443-4155. Oseguera is a registered Farm Labor Contractor.

Workers Needed:
a. Total: 8
b. H-2A: 3
Oseguera seeks certification for 3 H2A workers. The total number of workers needed is 8. Of the 8 total workers, it is estimated that 5 will be domestic workers that do not require housing.

Cal-Van Driver:
The driver can drive passenger vans.
The driver will drive designated vehicles to transport harvest crew workers to and from housing and job site locations.
The driver will be responsible for filling the vehicle with gasoline and keeping the vehicle clean.
The driver will be required to complete and process periodic driving reports as required by state laws.
The driver will be required to follow all Arizona and California traffic laws and, if applicable, vanpool rules.
Drivers must possess a valid driver's license (DL) and must be able to pass the DOT (Department of Transportation) recognized medical examination and meet all other DOT requirements.
The employee will be responsible for the cost of the driver's license. Cal-Vans performs the medical exam at no cost to the employee or employer. The employer will be responsible for the cost of registration as an FLCE driver (if any).

Drivers are compensated for these activities.

All employees who do driving activities (H-2A, as well as corresponding domestic workers), will have the opportunity to obtain a driver's license (DL) and register as an FLCE driver voluntarily. The DL and FLCE certificate are not a work requirement before hiring. No job applicant will be denied an employment opportunity due to the lack of a DL or FLCE certificate at the time of application and/or hire. In addition, no worker (H-2A or corresponding domestic worker) will be terminated for not obtaining a DL or FLCE certificate. Cal Vans Drivers can be H-2A workers or corresponding domestic workers.

The employer ensures that employees who drive Cal Vans are compensated for their driving time. Drivers complete MSPA and related documentation (i.e., keep records) as required by law, for which they are compensated. Drivers pick up workers from homes/pick-up points and take them to the workplace. At the end of the working day, the driver takes the workers back to the homes/pick-up points. Workers are also responsible, during the workday, for filling the vehicle with gasoline and keeping it clean. The employer ensures that it pays AEWR to workers for actual driving time and, to the extent applicable, for processing documentation, trips to the gas station and cleaning the vehicle.

Crew Lead
Whenever CalVans Drivers are not performing driving activities, they will direct and monitor the work of other farmworkers, including monitor and direct crews to make sure they follow good agricultural practices. Assist in maintaining an efficient, safe, and respectable work environment. This is a non-supervisory position .
