Job description

Keep an assigned area of the Day Lodge clean, orderly and well presented for Deer Valley Resort guests. Maintain restaurant floor service standards. Tasks involved include clearing trays, wiping and rearranging tables and chairs, attending the Beverage Bar, emptying bus carts, drying and filling tray and silverware stands. Greet, assist, direct and anticipate guest needs is required to present the high service level of Deer Valley Resort restaurants. Report to work in ample time in proper uniform and neatly groomed for the start of your shift. Have a thorough knowledge of all Deer Valley services. If you are unsure, find a supervisor or manager for assistance. Assist our guests with any service needs. Refer any sensitive situations to the manager on duty. Assist each other when necessary. Efficient operations require teamwork and cooperation with your fellow employees. You may be asked to help in other departments as well as your own. Maintain proper order in designated storage areas. Carefully handle furniture and fixtures when moving them. Adhere to the Floor Service Standards at all times.

Special Requirements

Must have or be able to get Utah Food Handlers Permit
The ability to lift 35 pounds.
On-the-job training is provided.
Following Shifts available 7 days a week including weekends and holidays. 7:15am - 4:30pm, 8:00am - 4:30pm, including weekends and holidays.
Wage Per Hour: $11.20 - $25.32. Overtime possible at hourly wage of $16.80 - $37.98
Possible Wage Increase: Deer Valley offers pay raises based on performance and merit. Each employee receives a performance review at the end of each season, based on these reviews employees will receive a merit from 0% - 5% for the start of the next winter season. Employee's may receive spot raises based on their performance.
