Job description

***RFI Response***
All pruning is done on the ground. We trim bushes, plants, and low-hanging tree branches.

***Original Duties***
Workers will perform cleaning of private properties including manual snow/ice/leaf removal from sidewalks, driveways, yards, or parking areas using snow shovels, snow blowers, leaf blowers, rakes, ice chippers, or salt spreaders; trash/debris pickup; potential late season mowing, fall/winter storm cleanup including clearing debris from grounds; and dormant tree/shrub winter pruning. Clean and perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools when not in use. Load/unload materials. Trim or pick flowers, clean flower beds, and decorate gardens with plants and flowers using gardening tools. Fill exterior floral containers and floral beds with seasonal floral arrangements and seasonal plants. Entry level; requires supervision.

Special Requirements

Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Work shifts/hours vary by day and work days vary by week depending on snowfall. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, and post-accident. Post-hire background check and employment eligibility (e-Verify) check required of foreign and domestic workers. Post-hire motor vehicle record check required only of foreign and domestic workers who drive company vehicles (driving is not a requirement of all workers in the position). Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
