Job description

Performs all methods of cookery, portion control, and garnishes all dishes in accordance with the standards set by the Club. Maintains high standards of quality food production to ensure members/guests satisfaction. Inspects and cleans food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices. Prepares, cooks, seasons, and presents food according to recipes and Club standards. Bakes, roasts, broils, and steams meats, fish, vegetables, breads, desserts and other foods. Ensures food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters. Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.

Anticipated days and hours of work per week and schedule: 40 hours per week. Five shifts a week during the Seven-day workweek. Hours of operation are 3am to 12am. Standard Shift Schedules are 7am to 3pm, 2pm to 10pm, and 3am to 11am. Early starts (3am) and late ends (12am) may be needed based on events (i.e., private parties, weddings, banquets). Overtime: Yes. As Needed.

Special Requirements

One year of experience as a cook in a fine dining environment or alternatively, one year of formal culinary training. Must be 18 years of age; pass pre-employment drug test (in accordance with companys Drug Free Workplace Policy) and background check. This includes seasonal and full-time annual positions and is applied to all applicants regardless of their national origin, race, or gender or visa status. Must be available to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Must present a professional demeanor and appearance.
